A Bleep censor, often referred to as "bleeping", is the act of replacing verbal profanity (swear words) using a beep sound, usually a 1000 Hz tone. During the age of SpaDinner Poops, it was mainly used to cover up normal words to sound as if the speaking character was using a variety of profane words. It was commonly used before standards became more lenient and Word splicing caught on. Bleeping is barely ever used in modern poops and is one of the first things people notice when accusing a poop of being "old" or "lazy."
